Brave Iranian teen redefines sacrifice

In a heroic act, Iranian teenager risks life to save two women trapped in a burning house.

Ali Landi, who hails from Izeh County in Khuzestan Province, embodied self-sacrifice in the highest sense of the word.

After a fire erupted in his neighbor’s house, Ali rushed to save two women -middle-aged and elderly - trapped in a deadly situation.

He managed to save the two but is severely wounded with burns covering 91 percent of his body. 

The heroic act prompted calls on social media to include his story in school books.
